Nuclear arms control in the ‘attention economy’. In September 2017, at IPPNW’s annual conference, in York, UK, Kjølv Egeland gave a talk on nuclear arms control and disarmament in the digital age. Egeland also participated in a panel on nuclear politics and international law.
Modalities of military nuclear cooperation. On 6 March 2017, Kjølv Egeland gave expert testimony to a preparatory meeting for the negotiation of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in Geneva. The meeting was held at the UN Palais des Nations and hosted by the Geneva Disarmament Platform and the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
